How it works

From the app to their phone book.

Make a free digital card, put it on an NFC card, and share it with a tap. Here is every step, from sign-up to the moment you are saved in someone's contacts.

  1. In the app

    Create your free card

Sign up and build your digital card in the Nexcard app: your name, title, company and links from 60+ link types. It is free, and it works on its own. Share its link or QR code before you ever order a physical card.

  2. On the website

    Choose and design your card

Pick Classic, Personal or Business. Personal and Business come with a live designer: type your details, choose one of four card colours and, for Business, upload your logo. We check every logo before printing.

    Printed and delivered

  6. On their phone

    Tap, or scan

Hold the card near the phone. Your card opens in their browser: no app, no pairing, no battery. No NFC? They point the camera at the QR code on the back.

  7. Saved

    You are in their contacts

Save contact downloads a standard contact file (.vcf), and their phone adds your name, number, email and links in one step. With Exchange, they can share their details back into your Connections.

Two ways in

Tap it. Or scan it.

Every Nexcard card has both. The chip holds only a web link to your card, and the QR code on the back opens the same page.

Tap with NFC

Hold the card near the top back of an iPhone, or the middle of the back on most Android phones. The card page opens in the browser.

  • No app on their phone
  • No pairing, no battery
  • Unlock the screen first

Scan the QR code

Any smartphone with a camera can scan the code printed on the back, including older iPhones and phones without NFC.

  • Works on every camera phone
  • An option when a thick case blocks NFC
  • Same card page, same details

Questions

Before you start.

More answers on the FAQs page.

Does the person I share with need an app?

No. Your card opens in their phone browser, on iPhone and Android. They can call, email, open your links or save you as a contact without installing anything.

Do I need internet for it to work?

The phone that taps or scans your card needs mobile data or Wi-Fi to open your card page. The physical card itself needs no battery, charging or connection.

Can I change my details after the card is printed?

Yes, and this is the main reason to use Nexcard. The NFC chip and QR code point to your online card, not to fixed text. Change your number, job title or links in the app and every tap shows the new details. No reprinting.

Can I have more than one card?

Yes. You can create separate cards for different roles, for example one for your business and one for personal use, and choose which card each NFC card or tag opens.

How long does shipping take?

Cards are printed after you confirm your order and usually arrive in 4 to 5 working days anywhere in India. Shipping is free on orders of ₹999 and above; smaller orders have a ₹49 delivery fee.

I lost my card. What should I do?

Open the Nexcard app, go to Settings, then Devices, and remove the lost card. It stops opening your profile immediately. You can order a replacement and activate it with the code printed on it.
